Borden/Cracker Jack cards??

Does anyone know if these cards can be graded?? Also can anyone verify the issue?? They have Borden on the back with a Cracker Jack logo and I seem to recall having to mail in for them. thanks al.

I've got a "set". PSA told me they would NOT grade them. No particular reason, just that they didn't do it.

I think the reason that they will not grade them, is because they can't.

These cards from the Cracker Jack set are very, very small.

You could fit 4 of your cards in a holder and still have way too much room.

No. They'll grade the individual 1/4 size cards that normally came in the CJ box. It's these 4in1's that they won't grade.

I have contacted PSA so will wait to see what they say. If they don't grade them it doesn't make any sense because they are the same size as the 4 in 1 football that came out back in the 60's or 70's if I remember correctly. They are the standard size so they would fit in their most used holder.

The issue is that no one can confirm whether these were issued like this. For the most part, the dealer promos were a single, uncut sheets, which many were later cut into the standard card dimensions containing 4 cards each. Because of these, these are considered sheet cuts until PSA has more proof that these were factory cut promos.

I just got a response back from PSA and they said they would grade them. Guess I'll find out for sure when I send them in.

I have never seen these before. Does it have the same checklist as the regular Topps set? If so, there's an Oil Can Boyd I don't have.
